Charlie Moore, a railroad executive with more than 40 years of experience in the railroad industry, has been named president of AllEarth Rail, LLC.
“We are very excited to welcome Charlie Moore as president of this new company. His knowledge, experience, and love for Vermont’s railways makes him the perfect choice for AllEarth Rail," said David Blittersdorf, founder of AllEarth Rail.
WCAX News traveled to St. Albans to capture footage of two of the twelve Budd cars AllEarth Rail purchased as the foundation for expanded passenger rail service in Vermont.
AllEarth Rail, LLC, announces the purchase of 12 Budd RDCs (self powered, passenger rail cars) from DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit). AllEarth Rail won in a public bid process to purchase the rail cars — an important step to provide expanded passenger rail service to Vermont.
